Floating land.

This week I went to a workshop with master potter Eric Natuoivi, part of Noosa national gallery 10 day event "floating land".
Eric is a potter from Vanuatu and does mainly sawdust firings so lots of burnishing to be done, there is no clay on Vanuatu so Eric has his clay shipped from brisbane.

This week we will build the paper kilns ON lake Catharaba and fire our pots. this will be a spectacular sight, Hopefully I will get some photo's next week.
