And still more from China!

It's really hard to get back in to the routine after coming back from China!
I have been working on a power point from my experiences and that took more time than I expected.
Not much time left to go back and work with clay, hopefully after the festive season I will be inspired again and jump into it!

In the meantime here is some jewelery I bought at the student markets in Jingdezhen which are held every Saturday. The students are not allowed to make pieces that somebody else is making, they have to come with new work every couple of weeks they are never in the same spot which makes the markets very interesting every time.

All  these  pieces are made from porcelain, decorated with decals and then fired again to get the gold lines on them.

Hi Mieke hope you soon get back to your clay work. Love these pieces and the woven strings are fantastic too.

Hi M - after so many amazing creative experiences I can understand that it will take you time to synthesise it all. What a great idea and opportunity for the students. And from the photo it seems such fine work. Thanks for sharing. B
