I am quite pleased with this result of gift-boxed horsehair and feather pots.

Black and white gives a nice contrast with the black boxes.

If you have any problems, it helps to know exactly what you've done with the product-that means keeping track of things like firing schedules, used pyrometric cones, samples of the unsuccessful work, the original container the material came in with the batch number etc.

Not something I always do and I believe we al are guilty of at some stage!!

Not horsehair Ceramics.

I tried feathers this time and am very pleased with the result.
Nice toasty colours, very smooth and glossy.
It is always a surprise how they will come out, a very hot affair with the raku kiln, I was lucky there was not a lot of wind this is always a problem more change of breaking my pieces because it will cool down to quickly.

How true this is we work with clay to try and make something as we have it in our minds, expecting people to see the same as we do.
Which doesn't always work out.
We are all different, and makes it interesting to try and find out what other people think of my work.
