The first glaze firing done and it looks pretty good, I'm quite happy with the result.
It is always a surprise to open the kiln and see the work finished.
Happy pumpkins looking bright.
Sea urchins
This set of teapots was supposed to go to the teapot competition in Brisbane, but alas... only single items can be entered so I give it a miss and keep them for a future comp.
These bright bowls are a commission for a new shop.
Lots of curly feet, dots and stripes.
The next load of items are in the kiln and are finished tomorrow, fingers crossed for the result, not that I can change it now.

Love them all but especially the chooks and teapots.
I just LOVE these quirky and colourful works Mieke. Have you thought about entering the Sydney Teapot Show?
